A taste of Lebanon

Pillars Wine draws inspiration from Lebanon’s ancient civilizations and the stone columns that still stand as witnesses to their legacy. From the Phoenicians to the Romans, Greeks, and Ottomans, each left a lasting mark on the land and its identity. Pillars celebrates that heritage through wines that connect past and present.

Rather than kings or dates, its wines honor five enduring virtues: Purity, Beauty, Strength, Wisdom, and Harmony. Each expresses a different facet of this story, from origins and elegance to resilience, knowledge, and the balance of land, climate, and craft. Pillars does not rebuild the past; it bottles its spirit.

Umami Wines is one of Lebanon’s few female-owned and managed micro-wineries, led by owner and winemaker Hiba Salloum. Each wine reflects her passion and dedication to artisan winemaking, guided by a distinctive philosophy: “It’s not a matter of taste; it’s all about the Fifth Taste, UMAMI.”

Sourcing grapes from ideally situated vineyards in the Bekaa region, Hiba seeks to accentuate the savory, pleasant character that gives Umami its name. Meticulous vineyard care and artisan winemaking methods shape a limited production of rich, flavorful Lebanese wines.

Les Temples · Domaine Maalouf

For those who taste beyond. Discover Lebanese wines shaped by altitude, stone, sun, and the heritage of Niha in the Bekaa Valley.

A Family Estate Rooted in Niha

Les Temples · Domaine Maalouf was born from a family connection to the hills of Niha and a desire to express this high-altitude landscape through wine. Vines were first cultivated in 2004, with the estate later developing into a boutique winery focused on character, balance, and a clear sense of place. Its name pays tribute to Niha’s Roman temples, where history and agriculture remain inseparable.

High-Altitude Character

The vineyards lie approximately 1,100–1,400 metres above sea level. Sunny days build ripeness and aromatic intensity, while cooler nights help preserve freshness and natural acidity. Rocky soils, mountain exposure, and the dramatic day-to-night temperature shift give the wines clarity, structure, and a distinctive sense of origin.

A taste of Lebanon

Mawj, Arabic for “wave,” celebrates Lebanon’s coastal terroir and the Mediterranean’s indigenous grape varieties. Born from one winemaker and two wine lovers, it crafts fresh, expressive wines made for sharing, casual, unpretentious, and full of character.

From a 35-year-old organic vineyard in Edde, Batroun, overlooking the Mediterranean at 400 metres, Mawj embraces wild-yeast fermentation, stainless steel aging, and minimal intervention. Unfiltered and made with only a small addition of sulfites before bottling, these wines capture a distinctive coastal freshness. Enjoy them young, over shared meals and in good company.

A taste of Lebanon

Rooted in family heritage and a passion for the land, Sept Winery began with Maher’s return to his village of Nehla in the mountains of Lebanon. His vision was to breathe new life into his family’s land through biodynamic viticulture, creating a vineyard deeply connected to its surroundings.

Today, Sept’s wines celebrate the richness of Lebanon’s Mediterranean soil and the distinctive character of its mountain terroir. Discover a collection that brings together a personal story of renewal, a respect for nature, and an authentic expression of Lebanese wine.
